What a ham...

I have recently started going through the several hundreds of pictures I have taken since I got my new camera. It's an awesome camera but a little out of my league. I am still figuring out how to take pictures as well as work all the settings. As I was downloading and sorting through the pictures, I noticed we had several (50 or more) of Bennett eating.

Over the last few weeks Bennett has started mastering the skill of eating with utensils. He has been working on this for quite some time but I finally gave in and started letting him eat the really messy foods by himself.

My floors and walls have never been this dirty and the dogs have never been this fat. But Bennett enjoys it and dinnertime sure makes a great photo op.

Where to begin...

Our big success this week is Bennett is eating. He has been trying new foods and although he is reluctant he seems to be enjoying them. I hope this is a trend that will continue. We are continuing to see the pediatrician every couple weeks and he remains on this medicine but I am so thrilled to announce he is eating!!!!

We are extremely diligent about closing lids on the toilets for the fear that Bennett or one of the dogs may try to get in or fall in. However, this past week I was folding laundry as Bennett was running from room to room. It got really quite and then I heard a big SPLAT!!!! I ran in the bathroom and he lifted the lid on the toilet and threw a toy into the toilet bowl. This is Bennett's new favorite game. He loves opening the lids of toilets and putting stuff in the toilet. Closing all bathroom doors is a must!

The same day Benentt moved on to throwing his blocks down the stairs through the gate. The video below is the little rugrat in action. Sorry for the poor quality.

Needless to say Bennett is keeping us on our toes.

Fort Bennett

Bennett has this great caterpillar tunnel that he loves to crawl through. And well, today it got me thinking that it would be fun to build a fort for him to play under. Here are some pictures from our day of fun!

He found a way in. We pulled some toys and books into the fort and enjoyed some time reading and playing with toys.

And shortly after we played in the fort Bennett of course destroyed it, which I admit was just as much fun.
